Job Title: Project engineer

Location: Baghdad, Iraq

As a Project Engineer, you will collaborate with other project team members to ensure that our software products meet client expectations while adhering to planned schedules and deadlines.

Main Activities:

• Analysis / Design / Implementation / Maintenance:
  • Familiarize yourself with and apply existing methodologies for analysis, design, and implementation.
  • Take charge of the technical implementation (developments).
  • Implement the solution at the customer’s site.
  • Participate in defining and implementing test scenarios necessary for product acceptance during the qualification phase.
  • Assist the customer in carrying out acceptance tests.
  • Plan and carry out maintenance operations (during the stabilization period) on installed products.
  • Draw up detailed reports on each maintenance operation (problem, source, solution, tests to validate correction).
  • Adhere to processes and use standardized documents provided by Quality for different project cycle phases.
• Collaboration / Reporting:
  • Report to the CP or SPM on progress, problems encountered, and potential risks.
  • Report on achievements according to pre-established provisions (Objective Sheet, TimeSheet, CR intervention, etc.).
  • Participate in planned training and knowledge transfer.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, and improvement of relevant procedures.

Educational Background:

• Bac+5 in Computer Science

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in the technical and functional management of projects

Skills:

• Good knowledge of the following technical environments:
  • Oracle Forms/Reports
  • PL/SQL
  • C/C++
  • JAVA
• Knowledge of S2M’s business
• Understanding of software development methodologies
• Proficient in design and development languages and tools
• Methodical and organized
• Multilingual (Arabic, French, English)
